1. The service

stoolme provides a collection of free, browser-based utilities and accompanying written guides. The tools are intended to be useful but are provided "as is", without warranty of any kind.

2. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Site for any illegal purpose or to process content you do not have the right to process.
  • Attempt to interfere with the Site's operation, including by scraping at a rate that degrades service for others.
  • Attempt to circumvent any security or rate-limiting measures.
  • Reverse-engineer the Site to extract or recreate proprietary content for republication elsewhere.
  • Use automated means to generate spam, fraudulent codes, or content that infringes someone else's rights.

3. Your content

The tools on stoolme process content you provide locally in your browser. We do not receive that content, claim any rights over it, or use it for any purpose. You retain full ownership of anything you produce with our tools.

4. Our content

You may quote short excerpts of the guides for non-commercial purposes with attribution and a link back to the source page. Wholesale copying or republication is not permitted without our written consent.

5. Output of the tools

The output of the tools (e.g. a generated password, a formatted JSON string, a QR code image) belongs to you and may be used for any lawful purpose, including commercial use. You don't need to credit us, although a link is always appreciated.

6. Disclaimers

The Site and its tools are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that defects will be corrected. We do not warrant that the output of any tool is accurate, complete, or fit for a particular purpose.

Specifically: calculators (BMI, loan, age, etc.) are educational. They are not professional advice. Do not rely on them for medical, financial, legal, or other professional decisions without consulting a qualified expert. See the disclaimer for details.

Our total liability for any claim arising from the Site is limited to € 50 or the amount you have paid us in the preceding twelve months, whichever is greater. (You have paid us € 0.)

8. Third-party content

The Site may contain links to or embed content from third parties (for example, advertising delivered by Google AdSense). We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of third parties.
