This Cookie Policy explains what cookies and similar technologies stoolme uses, why we use them, and how you can manage them. It supplements our Privacy Policy.

What is a cookie?

A cookie is a small text file that a website stores on your device. Cookies can be used for many things — remembering your settings, keeping you logged in, measuring traffic, or showing relevant ads. Similar technologies include localStorage, sessionStorage, and small "pixel" images.

How to manage cookies

You have several options:

  • Browser settings. All major browsers let you block or delete cookies. See the help pages of Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge.
  • Consent banner. The first time you visit stoolme, you'll be asked whether to accept analytics and advertising cookies. You can change your choice at any time by clearing site data or by clicking the "Cookie settings" link in the footer (where available in your region).
  • Google ad personalization. You can manage personalized advertising across Google's services at https://www.google.com/settings/ads.

What happens if you block cookies?

The tools themselves do not depend on cookies, so they'll continue to work normally. You may see less-relevant ads, and we'll have less information about which tools are most popular.

Changes to this policy

If we change the cookies we use, we'll update this page. The "Last updated" date reflects the most recent change.
