stoolme respects the intellectual-property rights of others. If you believe that material on stoolme.com infringes a copyright you own or control, you may send us a notice asking us to take it down. We follow the procedure described in the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and analogous laws in other jurisdictions.
How to send a notice
To be effective, your notice must include all of the following:
- A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner (or a person authorized to act on the owner's behalf).
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed.
- Identification of the material on stoolme.com that you claim is infringing, including a URL specific enough that we can locate the material.
- Your full name, postal address, telephone number, and email address.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or are authorized to act on the owner's behalf.

What we'll do
Upon receiving a valid notice, we will promptly remove or disable access to the material identified in the notice. We will also take reasonable steps to notify the user who posted the material, if any.
Counter-notice
If you believe your material was removed by mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notice. Your counter-notice must include:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the material that has been removed and its previous location.
- A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed by mistake or misidentification.
- Your full name, address, phone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the courts where you live (or, if outside the U.S., of any judicial district in which stoolme may be found) and that you will accept service of process from the party who filed the original notice.
Repeat infringers
It is our policy, in appropriate circumstances, to disable and/or terminate the access of users who repeatedly infringe copyrights.
Misuse
Under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f), any person who knowingly materially misrepresents that material is infringing — or was removed by mistake — may be liable for damages, including costs and attorney's fees. Please make sure you actually own the copyright (or are authorized to act on the owner's behalf) before filing a notice.
